Post Number One

Hi, Hello….I’m Kate, a.k.a creator of Black Bird studios. Art has always been my outlet, a place for me to go to escape, to recharge, recenter, to start again. Sharing what I create has been a mountain to climb, honestly. I usually kept things to myself out of fear of failure. Thankfully that all changed in my 30s when I finally found the courage to share what I create.

I am on instagram, but I am finding it less and less fulfilling, and lately, I’ve been finding myself wanting to hide my work again……hate that…….ALOT! Change is needed, so I have decided that I will be blogging my work over here where it’s less noisy and 100 percent art focused.
